Mods v. Rockers at IMS CycleWorld

Day 1 of IMS at the Stevens Convention Center in Rosemont was a blast! The Mods v. Rockers booth looks boss, thanks to the hard work of Ton Up Club Chicago. We’ll be here all weekend long, so come out and stop by. Head over to the gallery and check out the pics as we set up for the big event.

Windy City Soul Club is back for February this FRIDAY, Feb. 5, at the Empty Bottle. WCSC welcomes Dante of Danny’s ever-popular funk night in… we hear he has a killer northern soul collection, so it’ll be great to see what he brings. See you there!

ACEtober fest 2009

acetoberfest_09_backMan, we had a blast at ACE. We’re heading back on Saturday, October 3 for their annual ACEtober fest, sponsored by ACE and Ton Up Chicago. This STRICTLY VINTAGE ride-in motorcycle and scooter show should be tops. The show kicks off at 1pm, awards at 4:30, and then a poker run at 5. After party is at Five Star on Chicago Ave.

sh15Best Slaughterhouse yet to come Chicago! We start on Thursday, Sept. 3 at Holiday Club with Dave & Kristine’s Twist & Shout night. Friday, Sept. 4 we meet at Broken Cherry for a short run to Phyllis’ Musical Inn, where we taken in a couple of bands and Berryoke before a midnight run. Saturday starts at 11am at Ace Motorcycle & Scooter in the west loop. From there we cruise the southside and head back north to Wiener Circle. Roller derby is the night’s entertainment… or if you AIN’T HERE TO PAINT, head straight to Orbit Room followed by Underbar for some refreshments. Sunday begins at 1pm at Motoworks on South Western Ave. for the famous MayDay SC pig roast. Gymkana and raffle rounds out the day. See you there!
